As a technician here at JLR, you’ll join our Prototype Build team, part of the Product Engineering domain, working with cutting-edge technologies in our state-of-the-art facilities at Whitley. We’ve made significant investments in our equipment and infrastructure, and now we’re looking for skilled professionals to help us maximise their potential. This role is working Monday to Thursday 07:00am – 15:30pm and 07:00am – 12:00pm on Fridays.
What To Expect
- Deliver high quality prototype vehicle builds and component installations to engineering standards.
- Carry out diagnostics, testing and problem solving across mechanical, electrical and HV systems.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety procedures and ensure a clean, organised workshop environment.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and workshop teams to support smooth programme delivery.
- Complete accurate build documentation and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
