As a Corporate Business Plan Manager here you will support the development of long-term strategic business plan for JLR. You will play a key part in shaping the company’s response to industry transformation, including electrification, digitalisation, and evolving regulatory landscapes. You will work closely with teams across Strategy and Finance chapter to perform scenario modelling on Business Plan through rigorous analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and internal performance data.

In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here’s what to expect:
- Lead the creation of long-term corporate Business Plan with an Enterprise view of long term targets, and investment requirement, and key assumptions behind the Business Plan
- Lead Deep diving of competitor/market analyses to identify relevant insights from the trends of ASP, volume, material cost, and other cost heads to influence JLR\’s Business Plan targets
- Effective stakeholder management with JLR teams especially across Finance and Commercial chapters (LL4/5) to seek data sources to effectively conduct above analysis, to constructively challenge the assumptions in the base business plan and ability to conclude towards an alignment
- Create executive-level presentations and reports for update to Board/ELs for JLR’s key Governance milestones such as Board meetings, EBR etc. Ability to manage commercial / financial analysis & communicate outputs to stakeholders in a clear, succinct manner with confidence and impact
- Create scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies for Business Plan
- Lead investment analysis: Ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, expansions, and tooling etc
What You’ll Need
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
- Substantial and demonstrable experience in Corporate strategy/Finance/Management consulting
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) using an analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Detailed of understanding of financial statements and ability model the financial statements in excel/other tools
- Ability to develop an independent strategic view on key business plan input assumptions (e.g. volumes, variable and fixed costs, investment, etc)
