As a Food Services Assistant, you'll be working in one of our stunning Partnership hotels and supporting the profitable running of the catering operation there. You'll be working alongside a dedicated team of hospitality professionals to deliver a first-class guest experience. Bala Lake Hotel, Activity Base and Spa is situated in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park looking out across spectacular mountains and just a short stroll from Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake). It's a magical place to work.
You'll be surrounded by a team of passionate and dedicated hospitality Partners to give our guests the best experience possible. What is different about our guests though, is that they are Partners, their friends and family. As co-owners in the business, you'll see this difference in the way your teammates and you approach your job and carry out your responsibilities.
The hotel offers both activity and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Guests can spend their stay taking part in one of the many activities such as Segways, Crossbows, Archery, Field Archery, High Ropes Aerial Challenge, Gladiator Challenge, Leap of Faith, Low Ropes Course with Zip Wire, Laser Clay, Monster Trucks, Bala's own Escape rooms and Cyber Tag or relaxing and pampering themselves in our luxurious Spa overlooking Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) towards the Arenig mountain.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.

- Always ready to lend a hand to your fellow team members and ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
- Adhering to the highest standards of health and safety to ensure a safe working environment for both fellow Partners and guests.
- Using your excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks.
- Interacting with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner and sharing your passion for good food and drink.
Essential skills/experience you'll need

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and find solutions quickly when issues arise.

- Previous experience in a hospitality environment.

Hours of Work: Varied hours of full-time work (37.5 hours a week) across seven days to include early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends between the hours of 07:00 - 22:00.
