About The Role
The Transaction Manager serves as an embedded in-house resource working directly at the client's location, responsible for managing all aspects of real estate transactions while representing both client interests and maintaining service excellence standards. Working closely with internal client stakeholders and external brokers, the role is to ensure timely, compliant, and value-driven execution of real estate strategies that support the client’s operational and financial objectives. This role requires a strategic approach to transaction management with a strong emphasis on relationship building and client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Management
- Lead and execute the complete transaction lifecycle for leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and renewals across EMEA and APAC.
- Develop and implement transaction strategies aligned with client's business objectives and real estate portfolio goals.
- Select and onboard local market brokers based on the client’s criteria, track record, and market expertise.
- Drive consistent application of the client’s global real estate transaction processes, including compliance with internal policies, approval workflows, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Prepare, negotiate, and review transaction documentation including LOIs, proposals, lease agreements, and purchase contracts.
- Track critical milestones and deadlines to ensure timely execution and reporting.
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact between client stakeholders and the broader real estate services team.
- Develop deep understanding of client's business operations, culture, and strategic priorities.
- Provide strategic counsel to client's real estate decision-makers and leadership team.
- Facilitate regular strategy and status meetings with client representatives.
- Identify emerging client needs and coordinate appropriate resources to address them.
- Create and deliver customized reporting aligned with client's specific requirements.
- Proactively manage client expectations and maintain transparent communication throughout all transactions.
- Build trust through consistent delivery of results and exceptional service quality.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage relationships with brokers, attorneys, architects, contractors, and other service providers.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure aligned execution and delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments including finance, legal, and project management.
- Interface with landlords, sellers, and their representatives to advance transaction objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate transactions with demonstrated client relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions from inception to completion.
- Experience working in an embedded client service model or corporate real estate environment.
- Strong knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and transaction structures.
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Real estate license and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.
