JLL is seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to join our Central London team on a prestigious site.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise, coordinate and lead the site-based engineering team to deliver services per contractual SOW requirements.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports and set clear individual objectives.
  • Maintain minimum staffing levels and arrange shift coverage as needed, including out-of-hours support.
  • Promote 'Safety First' culture ensuring adherence to JLL Cardinal Rules of Safety.
  • Deliver monthly toolbox talks and safety awareness programs to keep workforce updated.

System Operations & Technical Management

  • Operate all facility systems competently and efficiently, making improvement recommendations.
  • Control all MEP assets and building systems operations in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Monitor CAFM systems within SLA/KPI requirements.
  • Ensure technical and legislative updates are communicated and implemented by the engineering team.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Conduct regular supervisory health and safety inspections and logbook audits.
  • Handle critical incident reporting, near-miss documentation, and after-action reviews.
  • Carry out site supervisory visits to ensure work quality meets required standards.
  • Review RAMS, competencies and permits sourced by the admin team.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as primary contact for engineering matters with site teams.
  • Attend and deliver weekly operations meetings in a professional manner.
  • Take ownership of client needs and maintain good customer communications.
  • Build stable relationships through proactive engagement.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Prepare information for monthly engineering reports.
  • Ensure contract efficiently meets all SLA and KPI requirements.
  • Escalate critical equipment issues immediately to Technical Manager and Account Manager with recommendations.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management

  • Ensure specialist vendor visits are properly prepared and approved by site management.
  • Review technical quotes before submission for approval.
  • Source quotes and organize works under Technical Manager threshold.
  • Manage critical spares inventory including stock registers and monthly audits.

Emergency Response & Flexibility

  • Participate in site escalation processes including on-call emergency response.
  • Work flexible schedules including extended/non-standard hours as needed.
  • Serve as first point of contact for helpdesk and allocation desk for resource/technical issues.
  • Provide written incident reports and prepare basis for remedial work quotes.

Experience Background:

  • 5-10 years' field experience in facilities or construction management.
  • Progression from technical/supervisory roles into project management.
  • Track record in high-end commercial, corporate, or events environments.
  • Experience executing work with minimal disruption to premium operations.
