The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
In liaison with the site Hard Services Manager to ensure the site is operated in accordance with local legislation. The role is accountable for planned maintenance, compliance with Site SOPs, processes, and any adopted procedures, and for maintaining plant, utilities and associated records.
Responsibilities
- Identify, plan and schedule preventive maintenance (PPM) across service delivery aspects.
- Produce purchase orders, work order numbers and requisition requirements.
- Be familiar with CMMS systems for issuing small works and PPM requirements.
- Attend Testing and Commissioning as a competent person, providing feedback on findings and observations.
- Carry out all works in a health and safety conscious manner following material safety instructions, permits to work, risk assessments and method statements where appropriate.
- Maintain records pertaining to operations, PPM schedule, reactive and emergency maintenance, and other engineering/building fabric records including operation and maintenance manuals and drawings.
- Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and handover of plant and user equipment.
- Work with the principal contractor to identify training needs and be proactive with regard to preventative/reactive maintenance and out-of-scope or project works.
- Adhere to the Maintenance Management System in all engineering practices, to meet and exceed expectations of GRP and agreed service level agreements.
- Undertake small installation works and repairs to mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, in line with quality arrangements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) and Engineering Operational Procedures (EOP).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure operations comply with Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-skilled building services maintenance contracting environment.
- One, ideally two disciplines of the following: trade qualifications in Electrical Maintenance; mechanical HVAC or Plumbing; NVQ 2357-13, 2357-23; C&G Level 6 (5357-23, 5393-03, AM2S or AM2D); C&G 2079 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Discipline Dependent); C&G 2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent (Discipline Dependent).

Preferable
- Knowledge of emerging IoT or Smart building control technologies.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671-2018) (Discipline Dependent).
- IOSH qualification.
