Working within our UK Supplier Engagements Team you will be part of a diverse and integral team that supports and delivers a professional customer focused experience for our suppliers/service partners enabling the continuity of service for Occupiers and Clients. We have a unique role within the UK Team that sits within our core Client Financial Services (CFS) department for supporting one of our leading clients Legal and General Investment Management.
As part of this role you will primarily work to provide a customer service function to ensure the partnering between LGIM, JLL and their Suppliers runs smoothly within Accounts Payable related tasks. You will be the main point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders for this client using your skills to resolve any outstanding queries and disputes. You will also be providing operational and consultancy support ensuring that our key aims are delivered:
- To pay all suppliers within 30 days
- To manage supplier debt and minimise potential risks
- To provide a first class customer service to all our stakeholders
- To accurately and promptly resolve any supply chain hold ups (processing, queries & payments)
- To provide insight, assistance and resolution to aged debt
Your responsibilities will involve:
- To be the Supplier Engagement interface for Suppliers, Client and Stakeholders within the LGIM portfolio
- To facilitate, set up, minute and action control the Supplier Engagement review meeting with client and JLL
- To assist in the set up of new suppliers and ensure any problems are resolved
- To facilitate and hold onboarding supplier meetings
- To manage the updates for the supplier onboarding pack
- Reviewing mandates on a regular basis to ensure there are no missing details and complete necessary steps
- Tracking invoices to payment and resolve any hold ups
- Client PO assistance, reviewing PO set, resolving mandate change requests and property level (standard/standard+/Standard ++/Forward funding)
- Assist with raising JLLT tickets for any Proactis queries for client and stakeholders
- Working with LGIM Client accounts and Asset Management team within the development projects
- Ensure the suppliers with shorter payment terms are monitored and tracked
- To be a SME within the LGIM team for training and development for AP systems
- Monitor and action the LGIM priority mailbox
- To provide support to the accounts payable team with resolution/knowledge for query management tasks
- To provide support to the accounts payable team India with resolution/knowledge for payable tasks (Duplicate/Debit balances)
- To minimise and advertently reduce risk by urgently dealing with all legal documents and 3rd party collection agency's (reminders/final reminders, late payments, disconnections, court judgements, summons, or bailiff actions)
- To assist in stakeholder expectations and delivery of client Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- To be active in all transition tasks relating to Suppliers and supporting other operational and finance teams within Sales, Loss of Management and Take on's
- To assist in any Rating issues
- To attend any other meetings as necessary
- To take part in projects and supplier engagement improvements
- Any other Ad-hoc task relating to supplier engagement
