We are looking for a Surveyor to join our National Capital Markets Out of Town Retail business.
Role PurposeThe Surveyor will work in a high performing industry leading team within JLL’s Capital Markets business, with a specific focus on retail assets including, and focusing on out of town retail and leisure schemes. A strong underlying knowledge of the out-of-town retail market would be preferable.
What this job involves- To have or be able to gain a strong understanding of the out of town Retail and Leisure markets.
- Preparation of marketing materials and reports.
- Undertaking pre-sale and acquisition due diligence.
- Generation of buy side idea targets.
- Underwriting assets using cashflow modelling (training can be given).
- Supporting the directors in all aspects of client service for a wide variety of clients (including Institutional, High Net Worth, Private Equity and Property Companies).
- Opportunity to build relationships with other investment agents and clients.
- Ultimately growing into a self-generating Investment agent in time.
- Coaching and upskilling of graduates and newly qualified team members.
To apply you need to be / have:
- RICS certification preferable.
- Experience working in a capital markets or out of town agency.
- Strong interest in the retail sector.
- Highly numerate with good report writing skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, industrious and hungry for success.
Location: On-site – London, GBR.
