Summary
We are looking from Surveyor to Senior Surveyor level for our Specialist Asset Valuation business line, based in London. The team is evolving rapidly to meet the strong demand for valuations of the more complex and fascinating real estate. We work for some of the most high profile corporate occupiers, operators, specialist funds, developers, infrastructure funds, banks, finance providers and public sector landowners in assisting  them determine the value of the more interesting land and buildings in both the UK and Europe.

The job
The functions of the role are to provide excellent valuation analysis and advice on more complex and operational real estate and service JLL's major clients with accurate valuations. The successful candidate will be required to use a diverse range of skills including valuation and analysis and be comfortable advising clients across a wide range of property sectors.Â
We are looking for a good communicator who is comfortable selling our services to Clients and to colleagues within the wider JLL business.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide valuations and related advice on a wide range of property types and to a variety of clients many of whom are core clients of the firm;
- To provide valuation advice in expanding real estate and infrastructure sectors including complex manufacturing facilities, datacentres, educational establishments, film studios, science parks, infrastructure, arenas, car parks, sports stadia and playing fields,.
- To work with corporate occupiers, public sector clients, major banks and investors among a broad spectrum of local, national and international clients.
- To provide specialist advice to clients based on sector knowledge through wider collaboration with market leading capital markets, agency, research and management teams.
- Develop and manage client relationships, including growing new areas of business;
- Assist the team in achieving targets and growing the business line;

The Person
The ideal candidate will be a qualified surveyor with 1-5 years' experience post APC. Previous experience of specialist valuation is helpful but not a pre-requisite. More important is that the right person has the ability to use their initiative and demonstrate intelligence and flexibility.
- MRICS/Registered Valuer with post-qualification experience;
- Broad experience ideal, although this is not essential and interest in variety of work is key;
- Knowledge of Excel, Argus Enterprise and Argus Developer valuation packages;
- DCF modelling experience;
- Ability to work under tight time constraints in order to deliver high quality service;
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent client skills;
- Willing to work as a team player;
- Able to take on challenging valuations
- Strong verbal and numerical skills, an eye for detail and to be comfortable with detailed report writing and excel.
