Description
Join the growing London Design team at Tétris as a Senior Interior Designer.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in workplace design — a confident, self-motivated designer who sees design as a vocation and is ready to step into a senior role within a global organisation.
You’ll lead high-quality, story-led projects across the professional services sector, helping to shape how our clients think about space, experience, and performance. You’ll bring excellent presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interpret client needs and communicate ideas clearly.
This is a hands-on role — you’ll be actively involved in projects from pitch through to delivery, with the credibility and clarity to lead conversations at all levels. As a senior team member, you’ll also help shape a positive and inspiring design culture, supporting less experienced designers and collaborating closely with colleagues across Tétris, JLL, and our wider consultant and supplier network.
Your Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the Design Director to secure and deliver high profile projects
– Contribute to all project phases: strategy, test fits, schematic plans and conceptual designs, design development, collaborating with multiple disciplines
– Collaborate closely with clients, providing dedicated support to their internal teams.
– Direct project teams in managing all design aspects, including the creation of drawings, design coordination, and technical documentation
– Produce engaging graphic presentations for clients during live project stages
– Assist in developing compelling, work-winning pitches to high-profile clients.
– Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, details and specifications
– Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to achieve project objectives
– Lead and deliver innovative workplace design projects from concept to completion
– Ensure projects are not only aesthetically pleasing and functional but also financially profitable.
-Identify and report risks to the Design Director, operating in compliance with ethical practices.
-Continually enhance your design skills, staying abreast of external market trends.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
– Degree in Interior Design from a recognised institution
– Minimum 6 years\’ experience in commercial/workplace interior design, from concept through to completion
– Strong understanding of the UK commercial interiors landscape
– Prior experience in Design & Build, with clear knowledge of project delivery within that model
– Strong Revit skills are essential
– Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
– Excellent design communication and presentation skills
– Solid understanding of FF&E, materials, and finishes specification
– Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and buildability
– Experience in pitching and presenting ideas in pitch environments to high-profile clients, showcasing strong presentation skills.
– Comfortable working with senior clients and stakeholders
– Strong storytelling ability — able to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively
– Positive, driven, and calm under pressure — able to manage multiple workstreams
– Collaborative and communicative — builds strong working relationships across teams and with external partners
