Facilities Administrator/Receptionist - Part time Either 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm Wokingham

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and staff
  • Manage the visitor management system, including check-in procedures and badge issuance
  • Handle incoming calls, routing them appropriately and taking messages when necessary
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare conference facilities
  • Support basic administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain the reception area in a neat, organized, and presentable condition
  • Monitor building access and security systems during reception hours
  • Support internal communications as directed by management
  • Assist with basic IT troubleshooting for meeting rooms and reception equipment
  • Raise purchase orders

Qualifications

  • Previous experience (2+ years) in reception roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
  • Good problem-solving skills and practical approach to challenges
  • Experience with visitor management systems (advantageous)
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety or technical areas (advantageous)
