What this job involves:
- Champion proposal best practice
- Develop a bid programme and identify necessary resources
- Understand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offer
- Create bid strategies
- Identify, capture and develop win themes
- Ensure alignment to internal processes and obtain approvals in timely manner
- Submit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frame
- Coordinate internal and independent reviews in line with bid programme
- Monitor continuous improvement and development opportunities
- Work with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentations
- Work with knowledge management team to maintain bid library and other relevant business development collateral
- Support global sales enablement programmes to enhance sales productivity

- Strong educational background – degree / professional qualifications preferred
- Minimum five years of experience in bid management
- In-depth understanding of end to end tendering process and associated activities
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), coupled with strong influencing skills, particularly at a senior level
- Proven track record of success
- Unyielding attention to detail that results in zero error/defects
- Flexible and proactive with ability to work under their own initiative with a high degree of energy, assertiveness and creativity
- Excellent project management skills and strong organisational capability
- Commitment to collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and work under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written English
