The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.

To assist in general porter duties within Synnovis Pathology Hub. Including, but not limited to:

  • Take delivery of Medical Gas cylinders, move to allocated usage area and connect to pipelines.
  • Responsible for disconnecting empty cylinders, move to designated locked storage for collection.
  • Receive and acknowledge deliveries of Pathology related goods and distribute to the relevant laboratories as required.
  • Replenish stock in laboratory cold and ambient stores and working areas as necessary.
  • Monitor stock levels of consumables ensuring relevant managers are informed if reordering is required.
  • Escalate any issues encountered to the Soft Service Supervisor without delay.
  • Work alongside cleaning team to ensure dirty laboratory coats are prepared for collection at agreed intervals, ensuring clean coats are placed in the correct storage areas.
  • Use of site CAFM System to raise/progress and complete work tasks.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed, including manual handling, wearing the correct PPE, site specific uniform, and suitable footwear.
  • Complete statutory task and IT related training.
  • Report Near Miss / Good catches in line with Integral good practice.
  • Proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
  • Complete any other associated task requested by the management team, including taking an active role in team meetings and activities.
