We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Advisor to join our team in Norwich. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees while providing excellent support and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate Payroll Processing:

  • Process employee wages, salaries, overtime, deductions, and benefits accurately and on time
  • Calculate statutory contributions, including pensions and National Insurance
  • Handle payroll changes, such as salary adjustments
  • Manage payroll deadlines and ensure compliance with regulations

Employee Queries and Support:

  • Address employee inquiries related to pay, pay slips, timesheets, and deductions
  • Provide clear and accurate information to employees

Record Keeping and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Prepare payroll reports for management
  • Facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with year-end processes, including producing P11D/P9D forms
  • Collect and process timesheets
  • Manage absence records
  • Liaise with HR regarding new starters, leavers, and remuneration
  • Process statutory payments and attachment orders
  • Administer company pension schemes
