About the Role
We’re looking for a qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to join our reactive maintenance team across the North. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality gas maintenance, repair, and installation services across a diverse commercial property portfolio, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests for gas heating systems, boilers, and appliances across multiple client sites
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and statutory requirements
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimize client downtime
- Install, commission, and service commercial gas heating systems and appliances
- Conduct gas safety checks and maintain accurate records of all work completed
- Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety Regulations and relevant industry standards
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard
- Provide excellent customer service and represent JLL professionally at all times
- Complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements accurately and promptly
- Participate in an on-call rota as required
Essential Requirements
- Gas Safe registered with relevant commercial qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A minimum)
- Proven experience in commercial gas engineering
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation
- Proficient in using mobile technology for job management
Desirable
- Additional Gas Safe qualifications (CDGA1, CIGA1, TCPCP1)
- Experience working across commercial office, retail, or mixed-use properties
- Electrical qualifications (18th Edition)
- PASMA or IPAF certification
