Mobile Plumber is responsible for providing reactive and planned plumbing maintenance services across multiple client sites within London and the Southeast of England. This role involves traveling to various commercial properties to deliver high‑quality plumbing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency plumbing callouts across assigned portfolio of commercial buildings
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance on plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, heating systems, and sanitary facilities
- Cover OOH on call rota
- Diagnose faults efficiently and implement cost‑effective repair solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed using JLL's computerized maintenance management system via company issued tablet
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building standards
- Coordinate with site management teams and building occupants to minimize disruption during maintenance activities
- Provide technical advice to clients and colleagues regarding plumbing system performance and potential improvements
Essential Requirements
- Qualified plumber with relevant City & Guilds certification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence essential for mobile role
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial plumbing maintenance, preferably within facilities management
- Knowledge of current plumbing regulations, water systems, and heating controls
- Strong problem‑solving abilities with capacity to work independently
- Ability to prioritise multiple urgent requests effectively
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and clear reporting
