Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site services, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment.
  • Communicate with vendors and accelerate issues as necessary.
  • Oversee work performed by janitorial and other vendors to ensure all work meets prescribed service level and frequency.
  • Support and manage reception and workplace experience.
  • Coordinate and manage special requests for workplace services outside of routine services.
  • Provide oversight of contracted services.
  • Analyze service requests to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service and equipment required.
  • Recommend and develop projects with the Client team that enhance the value of the office buildings.
  • Maintain role as primary contact for clients regarding service requests; proactively meet with client representatives on a scheduled basis.
  • Communicate regularly with client representatives, providing status updates on all areas under management.
  • Ensure all defined services are completed in accordance with operating procedures, statutory requirements, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Proactively review and refine services to enhance quality.
  • Act as office lead onsite for the Life Science Client, leading problem-solving and delivering high-quality facilities solutions.
  • Form partnerships with the Landlord managing agent and client team leads to deliver a cohesive workplace experience.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of supervisory experience in a facilities/property management–related field.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and manage varied variables where limited standardization exists.
  • Awareness of people, behaviors, and intent, enabling appropriate response to negative behaviors.
  • Strong problem-analysis skills with timely resolution and action.
  • Commitment to maintaining workspace to the highest standard.
