Our client's EMEA headquarters is a Grade II listed landmark building located in Mayfair, housing world-class exhibitions, sale rooms, and client-facing spaces that support their position as a leading luxury and fine arts business globally.
The Senior Facilities Manager UK will report directly to the Account Director, working with the account team to ensure management of the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and support the account by being the key point of contact for all building-related matters.
What This Job Involves
- Overall responsibility of the site(s) within the portfolio, with particular focus on the careful stewardship of the Grade II listed headquarters property.
- Collaborate with the client to ensure our scope of maintenance, alterations, and improvements comply with Historic England requirements and listed building consent protocols.
- Provide managerial overview and guidance to the Facilities team.
- Manage and mentor the Facilities team, developing and sustaining a high-quality, well-motivated team.
- Oversight, responsibility, and management of key M&E deliverables for the site via JLL Engineering colleagues/management.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on-site client expectations are met.
- Manage soft services, engineering, stationery, courier services, mail rooms, furniture, small projects, catering consumables, and security arrangements.
- Actively work with the Account Director and Finance Director to ensure that the site's financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements.
- Ensure the provision of a safe working environment and compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards.
- Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations.
- Ensure a property risk management program including audits is implemented and maintained.
- Independently handle and perform Project Management for Small Works mainly in the UK as appointed by the client's team.
- Implement energy efficiency measures appropriate for a listed building context.

- Minimum 7-10 years facilities management experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in high-end retail, luxury hospitality, fine arts, auction houses, galleries, or similar prestige environments.
- Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.
- Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems.
- Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services.
- Budget management and financial analysis skills.
