We are looking for a Projects Engineer to join the onsite team to effectively assist the delivery of Projects.
On a day-to-day basis liaise with contractors and ensure that all permits required are submitted in the correct format, provide escort duties where required, ensure any required isolations, of any type, are arranged and applied and work as the liaison between the project team and Operations team onsite.
Ensure that all works are completed safely and in accordance with best practice and JLL standards.
Successful candidate will have to complete client screening and vetting.
Working hours will be Mon- Fri 08:00 to 17:00 with lunch break. Out of hours working will also be required but will be paid at the applicable over time rates.
Main duties
- In liaison with the Principal Contractor and Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered safely and within time scales.
- Attend and participate in Project Meetings
- To adhere to JLL safe System of Works.
- Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and hand over works for plant and user equipment.
- When required to raise and issue a Change Control Notification.
- Initiate and receive Permits to Work in accordance with procedure.
- Where necessary write and issue Safety Programmes.
- Where necessary perform required isolations.
- To wear personal protective equipment when conditions require or when required to do so by the relevant risk assessment, method statement or mandatory signage
- Where required to provide regular reports (Daily, weekly, monthly as required) to your line manager
- Strong communication skills to operate systems and prepare reports

- Able to work additional shifts/ hours as required
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Familiar with computer equipment and programs. (Word, excel and outlook)
- Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle.
Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.
