ROLE PURPOSE To support the Divisional Director in driving operational excellence, contractual compliance, governance effectiveness and continuous improvement across the PFI portfolio.
The role acts as the divisional lead for governance assurance, performance analysis, quality management and best practice implementation.
- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Governance & Contract Compliance Assurance
- Maintain oversight of governance and compliance arrangements.
- Monitor adherence to contractual governance requirements.
- Review governance outputs, compliance reports and assurance activities.
- Identify governance weaknesses and compliance risks.
- Develop divisional governance standards and assurance frameworks.
- Oversight of Contract Support Leads
- Establish divisional governance standards.
- Facilitate governance and compliance forums.
- Coordinate lessons learned and best practice sharing.
- Promote standardisation across all contracts.
- Contractual Reporting & Performance Assurance
- Assess reports against contractual schedules.
- Verify service reports contain appropriate contractual evidence.
- Challenge poor-quality or non-compliant reporting.
- Develop standard reporting templates and frameworks.
4. Quality Management & Assurance β’ Develop and implement an assurance programme. β’ Undertake governance reviews and quality audits. β’ Track corrective and preventative actions.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practice
- Identify recurring operational and contractual issues.
- Undertake root cause analysis.
- Develop improvement initiatives.
- Capture lessons learned and replicate best practice.
- Business Management Responsibilities
- Support divisional governance meetings.
- Support business planning, mobilisation and transformation projects.
- Produce management reports and presentations.
- KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience within PFI, or complex FM environments.
- Strong understanding of contractual compliance and governance.
- Experience undertaking audits and quality reviews.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Continuous improvement experience
