JLL is seeking an experienced M&E Technician to join our Workplace Management team, delivering exceptional facilities services at a prestigious client site in Shoreditch. You will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and ongoing performance of all mechanical and electrical building systems, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal disruption to occupants.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, lighting, small power, UPS systems, and building management systems (BMS).
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and building system alarms, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
- Carry out routine inspections of plant rooms, risers, and distribution boards to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and system performance data using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo or similar platforms.
- Serve as a visible, approachable point of contact for building occupants regarding M&E matters.
- Liaise effectively with the client, colleagues, and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
