Principal Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team responsible for providing hedging advisory services across JLL's EMEA footprint.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external professionals, providing advice and analysis related to the mitigation of financial risks derived from interest rate and currency fluctuations.
  • Build positive client relationships developed through comprehensive understanding of client needs and the availability of suitable risk management solutions.
  • Assist industry professionals in the preparation, execution, and documentation of hedging solutions.
  • Consider risk, internal controls, and compliance as part of day-to-day accountabilities and adherence to policies and procedures.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of capital markets, derivative products, pricing, and sales/trading/hedging strategies in both interest rates and foreign exchange.
  • Experience and skills enabling effective communication with senior client executives.
  • Familiarity with EMEA financial market policies and regulations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment with other capital markets professionals.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and relying on inputs provided by other professionals.
  • Prior experience managing junior professionals and analysts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant work experience as a client-facing derivative marketer/structurer in a commercial bank or as an advisor to clients using risk management products.
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or similar credentials.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Bloomberg, and a working knowledge of Salesforce environments.

Location Requirements:

  • In office 5 days a week.
  • Travel expected across EMEA region.
  • Location: On-site - London, GBR.
