As a key member of the L&D team, you'll be responsible for leading the local implementation, facilitation, and embedment of Learning and Development activities and programs across the UK, working closely with the L&D Partner, Country HR Partners and other L&D Managers/Leads of J10 countries. The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with senior stakeholders, confidently assessing needs, and influencing decision‑making in alignment with the global Learning & Development Center of Expertise (CoE) strategy. The candidate will have proven experience facilitating in‑person and virtual training sessions and workshops at all levels, including senior leadership.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct learning needs analyses with stakeholders to inform local priorities to include in the country roadmap.
  • Lead the delivery and adoption of learning products within the UK, confidently facilitating in‑person and virtual workshops for all employee levels, including senior leadership.
  • Influence and align stakeholders to leverage global L&D products and business line L&D programs within the country.
  • Manage programs and projects within the UK to completion, including impact assessment.
  • Manage the UK apprenticeship levy for existing employees, including launching program cohorts on a yearly basis.
  • Lead the deployment of local regulatory training campaigns on a yearly basis.
  • Actively participate in local audit processes as needed.
  • Work with the business to engage, excite, and motivate learners to learn and embed these new skills in their work.
  • Draw on data‑based insights and tell effective stories about the impact of L&D in the UK. This includes preparing quarterly business reviews, and other business presentations.
  • Use digital learning systems to track, monitor and drive usage – including regulatory or compilatory metrics needed within the UK.
  • Serve as an L&D expert, sharing best practices and utilising available content, resources, and technology to support business needs.
  • Actively engage with L&D Leads in other countries, L&D business line partners and L&D product leads to deliver key solutions in a timely manner and to identify scaling opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 7+ years of experience consulting with stakeholders on their learning and development needs and facilitating leadership and personal development programs, using contemporary content and approaches.
  • Expert in stakeholder management and relationship building in a matrix environment.
  • Outstanding emotionally intelligent communicator who can engage and inspire audiences.
  • Proven program manager with ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Self‑directed professional who thrives both independently and in team settings.
  • Resourceful problem solver with a solution‑oriented approach.
  • Best in class facilitation skills and ability to navigate difficult conversations in a classroom; equally strong virtual facilitation skills with experience using Teams, Webex or other technology to deliver an engaging learning experience.
  • Strong understanding of manager effectiveness, leadership development, change leadership, adult learning theory and team effectiveness.
  • Knowledge and experience leveraging the UK Apprenticeship Levy.
  • Preferable: Experience using and applying assessments in a learning environment, particularly: 360 feedback, Gallup Strengths, Herrmann Brain Dominance (HBDI).
  • Knowledge of basic talent management practices and talent life cycle desired.
