We are seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer for Integral Cooling Technology to cover client sites within Scotland and North

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM on all types of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems utilising all types of refrigerants – ammonia, F‑Gas (HFC and HFO), carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons.
• Reactive service including fault‑finding mechanical, electrical and control systems, including performing emergency standby rota duties.
• Compressor repairs and overhauls.
• Leak testing.
• Pressure testing.
• Refrigerant recovery and charging.
• Ability to operate on own initiative and as part of a team to effect attainment of agreed targets and objectives
• Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers business requirements and operations
• Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken – a ‘can‑do’ attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good Working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and Word
• Completion of all relevant documentation to a high standard.
• General plant room and equipment housekeeping duties.

Experience and Qualifications

• Ideally completed a formal apprenticeship in Refrigeration.
• CITB Safety Passport.
• City & Guilds 2078 / 2079 F‑Gas Refrigerant Handling / CITB Ammonia Handling Certificate / A3 Refrigerant Handling / CO2 Refrigerant Handling
• City & Guilds 207 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• NVQ1, 2 & 3 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Pressure Testing Competency.
• Specific Compressor Manufacturers Training Courses.
• Controls and Strategy experience
