We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work across various sites, handling tasks such as pipe installations, heating systems, drainage solutions, and general plumbing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, ensuring timely repairs to minimise disruptions.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Work on pressurised systems, including booster sets, calorifiers, and expansion vessels.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, ensuring all work complies with UK regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time spent.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients and facility managers as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a commercial or industrial plumbing environment.
- Knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and standards.
- Working knowledge of L8 compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
