This is a finance business partnering role supporting the UK PM Business Finance team and the UK PM business. The Finance Analyst will act as a trusted adviser, adding value through analytical insight, commercial judgement, and clear communication to support decision-making across the business. The role reports directly to the Head of Finance, EMEA PM, and is designed for someone who is building their finance capability with a focus on learning robust FP&A disciplines, supporting month-end processes, and developing business partnering skills across the UK PM portfolio.
This is a role for someone who is early in their finance career, eager to work independently on routine financial tasks, comfortable with data and analysis, and motivated to build credibility with operational stakeholders through accuracy, responsiveness, and commercial curiosity.
What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
- Finance Processes: Support the UK month-end reporting cycle - reviewing financial data for accuracy, posting journals, coordinating with business and finance stakeholders, and ensuring clean and timely output for reporting.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with business stakeholders to track performance, explain variances, and ensure the financial implications of operational decisions are understood and reflected in forecasts. Build credibility through responsiveness and accuracy, and begin to proactively challenge assumptions and highlight risks.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate financial reports within agreed timeframes, incorporating process improvements and leveraging automation where possible. Provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Planning and Forecasting: Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, contributing to the accuracy and evolution of forecasting models. Proactively forecast revenue and costs over the short and medium term by establishing forward-looking pipeline reporting and working with operational teams to understand drivers.
- Team Support: Contribute to the effectiveness of the UK PM Finance team and wider UK Finance community by sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and adopting best practices.
To apply you need to be/have:
- Part-qualified accountant (studying ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with progression towards qualification
- Prior experience in an analytical or business partnering role (or demonstrable exposure through internships or rotational programmes)
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills - able to work with data, draw insights, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, demonstrating ownership and accountability for deliverables
- Dynamic, driven, and self-responsible - comfortable operating within standard procedures while proactively identifying areas for improvement
Preferred
- Experience supporting month-end close processes or FP&A activities in a commercial or corporate environment
- Familiarity with financial reporting systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI platforms)
- Exposure to property, real estate, or professional services finance
- Demonstrated track record of driving efficiency or process improvement in previous roles
