We are looking for an Executive Events Host to lead our Executive Services team at Duffield Bank House, a 16th Century property on the bank of the River Derwent. The role involves driving and maintaining 7-star service standards, supporting senior Rolls‑Royce executives and their customers for conferences, formal dinner, garden BBQs and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Executive Services team under the Executive Host Manager.
- Supervise facility operations, including maintenance, conference facilities, security procedures and health and safety.
- Ensure high standards of cleaning, catering and maintenance, escalating issues as required.
- Manage bookings and logistics for customer visits using Microsoft applications.
- Maintain AV/IT systems operational daily.
- Act as Duty Manager, ensuring overall safety, operational management and high service standards.
- Support emergency procedures and run on‑the‑job training sessions for the wider team.
- Record and track customer preferences for future visits.
- Develop and implement service improvements and innovations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a high standard of customer empathy, discretion, and 7-star service for high‑profile guests.
- Extensive hospitality and/or customer service experience.
- Customer‑centric service style, putting the customer first.
- Ideally previous management or supervisory experience.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and customers.
- Cultural awareness and organisational skills.
- Problem‑solving ability with strong attention to detail.
