What this job involves:
As Estates Director, you will be the face of JLL at a high-profile commercial and residential estate, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and strong financial management. You will lead and inspire a team to deliver excellence, build strong relationships with clients and occupiers, and uphold JLL\’s best practices in all areas of estate management. Your role is critical in establishing and enhancing the profile of the building and estate, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively for the benefit of its customers. What your day-to-day will look like:
Client Service: Understand client objectives, build strong relationships, and assist in client reporting on operational issues and customer relations.
Customer Service: Collaborate with the Residential Team, engage with all occupiers to ensure excellent service, enhance the customer experience, and develop a sense of community.
Operational Management: Lead, develop, and inspire the on-site team to deliver high standards and adhere to KPIs. Implement JLL best practices in financial management, communications, procurement, risk management, sustainability, and more.
Customer Engagement: Undertake occupier surveys, respond to feedback, hold regular meetings, and develop an ambassadorial role in local industry groups and stakeholder meetings.
Financial Management: Provide accurate financial management of the service charge, prepare budgets, monitor spending, and ensure the procurement of supplies and services follows JLL\’s policies. General Management: Inform the Property Manager of any occupier matters, ensure timely and cost-effective reactive maintenance, maintain major incident plans, and monitor vacant property.
Required Qualifications:
Strong management experience in a high-profile commercial and residential environment.
Proven track record in managing on-site operational management teams and third-party service partners.
Good working knowledge of M&E plant & equipment.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
Experience managing service charge budgets and major CAPEX projects.
Strong commercial acumen.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve a high level of performance and to exceed targets.

Ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to support change-related initiatives and resolve problems efficiently. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
