The Engineering Lead is responsible for all engineering platforms, processes, procedures and technical support for delivery of the engineering services with particular focus on critical facilities. They are also a member of the Account EMEA Leadership Team and are expected to take a proactive part in helping the Account achieve its overall goals and objectives.

Major Responsibilities
  • Responsible for deployment of engineering platforms, processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Full participation in Engineering and Assurance and compliance programmes.
  • Responsible for technical support to FM teams.
  • Responsible for Management of strategic partners for engineering services delivery.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on critical environment management.
  • Introduce latest best practice and effective ways of working to support service delivery teams to meet Financial Targets.
  • Implement model programmes aligned with Global Processes & Procedures.
Working Life
  • Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, establishing and supporting the JLL teams delivering key initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in processes, systems and reporting.
  • Ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of all facility engineering activities to meet contractual obligations.
  • Supporting the accounts engineering savings glide path and account plan engineering specific objectives of cost savings, consistency and risk management.
  • Supporting the client's Energy Management savings glide path and account objectives, initiatives, supporting & tracking.
  • Assist with the development of the Engineering budgets.
  • Support facility management to deliver on the financial targets.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting review meetings.
Operations
  • Be responsible for the assurance & compliance programs to be administered.
  • Support / Perform major Incident Investigations.
  • Ensure operations comply with Engineering programs.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of technology systems to support service delivery.
  • Ensure the required reporting from the systems and accuracy.
  • Support & Track the development and effective implementation of standard operating, emergency and maintenance procedures and processes for the account.
  • Support the implementation of all regional initiatives and programmes for Engineering, Energy Management, Risk Management, Facility Management & Health and Safety.
  • Support client/account specific initiatives and deliverables such as SLA’s, KPI’s, savings targets, benchmarking and best practice.
  • Drive consistency with the Global account’s objectives working in collaboration with peers within the other countries.
  • Be responsible for application of Corrigo (JLL CMMS Platform), and use of business intelligence dashboards.
Other Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with key personnel in the client’s organisation.
  • Demonstrate to the clients - Value engineering, Innovation & Global alignment.
  • Enforce a zero tolerance to unsafe working practices.
  • Support research and development of innovative ideas to the group to maintain its competitive edge.
  • Evaluate, propose and pilot appropriate tools/processes to support the engineering services operation.
  • Ensure the engineering practices are continuously compliant with legal, statutory and contractual obligation and are being consistently executed across the account in accordance with current JLL practice and best in class requirements.
  • Develop feasibility proposals.
