About the job
The Solution Manager position plays a vital role in crafting relevant, innovative, and industry-leading client solutions in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), competitive and off-market account renewals, and acts as a trusted advisor-collaborator to colleagues in sales, proposals, pricing, and accounts. Primarily aligned to EMEA's Technology / Financial Services verticals (as well as supporting other JLL sector verticals when required), the Solution Manager role is viewed as a key differentiator to our ability to compete in an increasingly complex market with more sophisticated buyers and stronger competition.
The Solution Manager also works closely with subject matter experts across JLL's wider Work Dynamics platform including JLL Technologies, workplace experience, sustainability, engineering, workplace operations, and many others, to design and present tailored solutions that demonstrate a deep understanding of client objectives and business strategy.
What this job involves:
- Work with Sales leaders to lead and coordinate the development of winning outsourcing solutions for prospective clients
- Partner with key Work Dynamics stakeholders (business lines, service lines, account teams, pursuit teams and SMEs) through the bid process to execute on strategic sales opportunities which include but not limited to prospecting, RFI, RFP, presentation and contracting
- Coordinate the development of a custom team to build staffing models, detailed savings glide paths, technology offerings and specific outcomes that our clients will use to evaluate JLL within their selection process
- Coordinate the development of clear, articulate, and winning value propositions for presentation to our prospective clients.
- Assess financial and / or operational risks for JLL, as well as evaluating profitability.
- Assist the sales leader in key portions of the contracting process
- Coordinate with the regional Solutions Teams to ensure quality of proposed service offering and an ongoing exchange of solutions best practices across the business.
- Develop a thorough understanding of JLL's broad capabilities to meet client needs, recognising opportunities to offer the client value adds which solves problem statements or pain points

- A strong operational background in real estate, public sector pursuits or operations and/or experience supporting the Sales/RFP process at a regional level. Ideally, you should understand solution design concepts like gearing ratios and organisational design
- A Bachelor's Degree with at least five years' experience in Solution Development, Account Management, Facilities Management and/or Bid Management, preferably within the real estate industry
- Strong organisational skills, detail focused, tenacious follow up skills, and ability to drive and attain output from multiple and diverse disciplines and team members
- A proven track record of leadership and communication coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior level
- Strong writing skills including the ability to communicate the complete holistic solution in a clear and concise detailed narrative and executive summary
- Embrace a high energy level, thriving in a fast-paced environment having a track record of exceptional performance with the ability to manage many competing demands, while coordinating and producing meaningful solutions.
