The predicted salary is between 42000 - 84000 £ per year.
You'll be working specifically within a team of 7 surveyors in the Industrial & Logistics Lease Advisory team, based in London and will also collaborate closely with our Industrial agency team to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the team's future growth strategy and advance your career within a dynamic, well-respected group of approximately 35 lease advisory surveyors based across JLL's principal UK offices.
You'll be at the forefront of lease advisory activities, including:
- Conduct property inspections and measurements for client premises
- Provide strategic lease advice and compile comprehensive client reports
- Analyse and interpret market data to assess accurate rental values
- Negotiate complex rent reviews, lease renewals, and break clause modifications
- Prepare Expert Witness reports and represent clients in dispute resolution processes
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Collaborate with colleagues across Capital Markets, Agency, and Rating teams
Required Qualifications:
- MRICS qualification with minimum 5+ years PQE in rent review and lease renewal negotiations
- Proven experience in industrial and logistics property sectors
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple instructions simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in analysing and interpreting large datasets
- Full driving license and access to a car
- Agile, trustworthy, and innovative approach to work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of the South-east industrial sector
- Experience in Expert Witness report writing
- Track record of identifying opportunities beyond immediate client briefs
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in strategic portfolio management and lease structuring
