Overview Apply for Design Corporate Security Interior Design and Peer review consultants; and other consultants (e. g., MEP, lighting consultants) to identify impact on the overall design coordination and drive solutions.
Review drawings from ID consultants and monitor updates based on comments from Peer review consultants and Client stakeholders.
Compare designs against the visioning document to ensure adherence to the originally approved design brief; highlight changes requiring sign-off.
Identify finishes/details that may lead to operational challenges and drive closure solutions; discuss items with concerned teams before finalization and execution.
Manage and oversee the delivery of external partners in terms of design deliverables.
Oversee socialization and obtain sign-offs on the design from respective stakeholders prior to execution.
Partner with the Firm’s Technology group to ensure integration of their components with the workplace spaces.
Strategically collaborate with and build relationships across functional departments and client business units to provide information from Client stakeholders to consultants and ensure incorporation.
Lead activities and discussions to ensure alignment and agreement on design solutions.
Drive consistency in design globally, flagging any elements that require local customization.
Identify exceptions or design solutions that digress from global guidelines and engage to close/address them.
Leverage Global Workplace Guidelines, governance, policies, planning metrics, principles, best practices and lessons learned to provide implementation strategies for the project.
Manage relevant architecture/design/workplace consultants for the project duration.
Coordinate senior stakeholder approvals throughout the project process.
Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design or Commercial Design Management.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic agenda across a large, global, geographically dispersed organization.
Proven organizational skills, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities and to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to distill complex information to essential elements for client decision-making.
Capable of participating in discussions with internal clients on design, construction and space use concepts.
Interpersonal skills to present to and communicate with demanding clients while managing expectations throughout the design, construction and delivery process.
