We need a skilled data analyst to join our specialist data team that sits within JLL’s UK residential valuation business, and is based in our head office at 30 Warwick Street, London W1B 5NH. You will become part of a dynamic team of data analysts supporting a large group of residential and affordable housing experts, while contributing to a diverse range of complex and engaging instructions across the UK. This role is ideal for an individual with 2-3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst in a corporate environment, possessing strong technical, analytical and communication skills, paired with an interest in the residential sector. Adaptability and enthusiasm for achieving optimal client outcomes are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modelling
- Maintain and query large residential property datasets using advanced SQL techniques.
- Design and develop complex relational SQL data models to support valuation processes.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and insights in residential markets.
- Data visualisation & Reporting
- Build and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards providing real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Design compelling data visualisations that translate complex datasets into actionable intelligence.
- Develop executive-level reporting solutions for internal teams and client presentations.
- Development & Automation
- Develop sophisticated automation scripts using Python and VBA to streamline valuation workflows.
- Write API code to query AI systems at scale, enhancing our analytical capabilities.
- Create and maintain robust data pipelines for continuous data processing.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support business development activities through data-driven insights and market analysis.
Requirements
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Property industry experience highly preferred.
- Proven track record of working with large, complex datasets.
- Technical Skills
- SQL: Advanced querying capabilities, complex joins, stored procedures, performance optimisation.
- Python: Strong programming skills including pandas, data manipulation libraries.
- VBA: Proficient in Excel automation and macro development.
- Power BI: Expert-level skills including:
- Advanced DAX formula writing and optimisation.
- Complex data modelling and relationships.
- Custom visualisations and dashboard design.
- Row-level security implementation.
