Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and evolve the Whitgift Commercialisation category including strategy, delivery, and business plan.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of the Whitgift Commercialisation budget and the account management of agency and tenant relationships.
  • Drive income and capital growth via kiosks, car park, short term shop lets and asset management initiatives.
  • Help manage relationships with existing tenants to extend occupation and optimise performance. Reviewing turnover, growth opportunities and mitigating risk.
  • Work with the Retail Design Manager to optimise design, support the retail delivery process to achieve opening quickly but safely.
  • Drive income through clients and Experiential media agencies to achieve overall budget.
  • Identify a strong pipeline of brand targets in key market areas, pursue those targets with creative options.
  • Support the sale and delivery of non-digital media opportunities.
  • Be organised and motivated to work effectively as an individual whilst making a positive contribution to the wider asset team.
  • Chase leads and maintain up to date with latest client campaigns and competitor activity.
  • Support Asset team to deliver non-income generating activations if required.
  • Collaborate with Leasing, Operating Management, Centre Management, Finance, Knowledge and Research, Development, Design & Construction, Legal, Marketing & PR.

Account Management / Reporting

  • Work to ensure the legal contracts are issued, completed and accurately recorded in reports for all transactions.
  • Ensure all account procedures are adhered to for invoicing, collection of payments and sales reporting.
  • Ensure all sales collateral, specific information and presentations are updated in line with guidelines and industry requirements.
  • Have an understanding of the approval process, including technical compliance, fire safety and health and safety requirements.
  • Ongoing monthly financial reporting and forecasting, including occupancy and analysis.
  • Ensuring all income and pipeline is correctly reported.
  • Maintains zero-debt policy.
