Role Summary

An experienced Commercial Gas Engineer will carry out PPM and reactive activities across a variety of commercial premises on our Rolls‑Royce contract. The role requires hands‑on work, initiative, and proactive communication with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas installations.
  • Respond to reactive service requests and troubleshoot faults.
  • Apply core combustion skills to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist with installation work and provide technical advice to clients.
  • Participate in a call‑out rota and work out of hours when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT and applicable domestic qualifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations.
  • Familiarity with a range of Commercial/Domestic appliances (e.g., Valliant, Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi‑Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, Worcester).
  • At least 3 years of commercial fault‑finding and rectification experience.
  • Good plumbing skills and BMS/controls knowledge desirable.
  • High interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, and organisational ability.
  • Full UK driving licence.
