Role Summary
An experienced Commercial Gas Engineer will carry out PPM and reactive activities across a variety of commercial premises on our Rolls‑Royce contract. The role requires hands‑on work, initiative, and proactive communication with clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas installations.
- Respond to reactive service requests and troubleshoot faults.
- Apply core combustion skills to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Assist with installation work and provide technical advice to clients.
- Participate in a call‑out rota and work out of hours when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT and applicable domestic qualifications.
- Excellent knowledge of current gas regulations.
- Familiarity with a range of Commercial/Domestic appliances (e.g., Valliant, Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi‑Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, Worcester).
- At least 3 years of commercial fault‑finding and rectification experience.
- Good plumbing skills and BMS/controls knowledge desirable.
- High interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, and organisational ability.
- Full UK driving licence.
