We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on client's retail and office sites in and around London and Berkshire. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and complete PPMs & reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
- Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
- Troubleshooting / fault finding on all A/C systems.
- Produce quotations for works / remedials following service visits.
- Work on splits, VRFs, AHUs and DX systems and some central plant.
- Be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
- Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
- Be part of the Out of Hours Call Out rota.
Qualifications:
- C&G 2079 Cat 1 (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 or similar (essential)
- F-Gas
- Good mechanical & electrical background
- Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities
- Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
- Have good communication and organisation skills
- UK Driving Licence
- Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc.
