Role Overview

In this role, you will support coordination and implementation of energy, water, and waste management strategies in direct collaboration with a Global Sustainability Team.

You will support processes, programs, targets, reports, and projects to achieve scope of work delivery and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and operational support to the sustainability team on energy, water, and waste program goals, collaborating with team members as needed.
  • Analyse corporate portfolio utility data through benchmarking and reporting to drive conservation opportunities; improve processes and procedures for data collection and monitoring to support robust data analytics.
  • Track energy, water, waste, and sustainability policies, projects, and initiatives; quantify impact, track progress towards goals, and ensure success stories are communicated to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Support the deployment of sustainability initiatives including energy‑efficient measures and innovative strategies, providing input on building systems and their impact on environmental performance.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders, work orders and assist with energy and sustainability projects.
  • Contribute to assigned aspects of annual strategic sustainability plan, and help achieve client sustainability goals.
  • Research and stay current on industry trends and related regulatory issues to enhance the program, ensure programs developed follow all relevant regulations.
  • Effectively network cross‑functionally to collaborate with other JLL service lines on the account (technology, finance, projects, IFM, consultants, and procurement) in advancing the sustainability mission and objectives.

Qualifications

  • University degree, demonstrating subject matter expertise (e. g., Sustainability related degree; Environmental Engineer, etc.), recognised energy management qualifications preferable.
  • Strong data management experience and ability to analyse complex data for benchmarking and performance tracking.
  • Background in energy and sustainability management, with a track record of supporting energy reduction initiatives and technical knowledge of building systems.
  • Ability to support technical analysis and communicate findings to drive impact.
  • Passionate about working towards a sustainable future.
  • An excellent understanding of the key sustainability issues for corporate occupiers of real estate including, but not limited to: decarbonisation, embodied carbon, water reduction, circularity, resource preservation, biodiversity, climate risk, health & wellbeing, and social value creation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience working with corporate clients, commercial property, property managers and an understanding of the landlord and tenant relationship is desirable.
  • Proven project management experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in written and numeric work.
