Provides comprehensive plumbing services across JLL-managed commercial properties. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems while ensuring minimal disruption to building operations and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plumbing Systems Maintenance: Maintain and repair hot and cold water supply systems, drainage networks, and sanitary installations across multiple commercial facilities. Install, service, and replace toilets, sinks, taps, urinals, and other plumbing fixtures. Perform routine inspections of pipework, joints, and fittings to identify potential issues before they become critical failures.
- Emergency Response and Repairs: Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies including burst pipes, blocked drains, and water leaks. Diagnose complex plumbing problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Execute repairs efficiently to minimize water damage and restore normal building operations quickly.
- Installation and Upgrades: Install new plumbing fixtures and systems during tenant fit-outs and building improvements. Upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure to improve efficiency and compliance with current standards. Coordinate with other trades during construction and renovation projects to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and JLL standards. Complete accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system conditions. Maintain detailed records for warranty, compliance, and future maintenance planning purposes.
- Client Relations and Communication: Communicate professionally with building occupants, facility managers, and clients regarding plumbing issues and scheduled maintenance. Provide clear explanations of work required and estimated timeframes for completion. Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualification.
- City & Guilds certification in plumbing preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial plumbing.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Current CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications.
