JLL is seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Technician for workplace management operations at a prestigious investment company's London HQ in the City.

Position Overview

  • The role provides critical technical support across all building systems and facilities.
  • The core objective is to ensure seamless building operations and an exceptional workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fabric.
  • Respond promptly to building management system (BMS) alarms, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of critical building systems (lighting, heating, ventilation, power).
  • Coordinate with specialist contractors for complex or statutory maintenance.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service when responding to facilities requests from building occupiers.
  • Work a rotating shift pattern that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends, and participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Recognized trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or building services engineering.
  • Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience in a commercial office environment.
  • Strong understanding of BMS, HVAC operations, and electrical/mechanical plant.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent certification, with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent mechanical certifications desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude toward working hours and ability to work independently.
