Surveying Services is part of the Property & Asset Management department. The team are responsible for managing the property estate for their clients, with a focus on delivering industry leading management of their client’s properties, contributing to the Centre of Excellence and maintaining strong relationships with each client.
This is an exciting role for anyone who has experience in property management (whether that be practical or through education), preferably with knowledge of lease terms and is currently is a property administrator or a recent graduate with education or experience within real estate, that is looking for their first career move.
Whilst you are expected to assist the client team you will sit within, you will also be liaising with the accounts team in regards payments and raising rents, liaising with the Data team in respect of database changes and invoice authorisation, as well as dealing with landlords and tenants.
General expectations will include
- Assisting to prepare service charge budgets and reconciliations alongside FMs and lead surveyor including applying the tenant apportionments and reviewing notes for service charge packs.
- Responding to any tenant queries on service charge, rent, insurance etc.
- General support for Occupier engagement activities including organising and attending tenant meetings
- Advising on repairing obligations in leases. Work with tenants to ensure their lease obligations fulfilled whilst promoting a “partnering” approach
- Assist in management & preparation if licences/wayleaves etc and assist in driving additional fees
- Assist in providing Surveying input into client reporting
- Attending client meetings to run through management reports.
- Coordinating and supporting on client initiatives such as sustainability reporting and rates mitigation
- Working with other PAM teams (finance/IFM/Data etc.) for surveying specific activities to deliver property management services for occupiers and clients
- Assist with property and site presentation inspections
- Checking and approving invoices as required to support the property management teams
- Checking demands to be raised to tenants including ad hoc recharges.

- Strong customer services skills and the ability to deal with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Organisational skills with the ability to work on several properties or tasks at one time whilst adhering to client KPIs.
