We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic

Marketing Assistant Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities.

Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns that promote our brands, services, and expertise.

You'll gain experience in digital marketing, social media management, website updates, content creation, event coordination, internal communications, and campaign reporting, while developing valuable marketing and business skills.

Alongside your marketing responsibilities, you will also provide administrative support where required to help ensure the smooth running of the Head Office and regional teams.

The successful candidate will been rolled on a relevant Marketing Apprenticeship, providing the opportunity to combine practical experience with recognised professional qualifications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, email marketing, and internal communications.
  • Schedule and manage content across company social media platforms.
  • Update and maintain company websites to ensure content remains accurate, engaging and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, case studies, advertisements, and promotional literature.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist in producing monthly marketing reports and insights.
  • Support the planning, organisation and delivery of client events, exhibitions, and hospitality activities.
  • Assist with photography, videography, and content gathering from projects and company events where required.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral is proof read, brand compliant, and of the highest quality.
  • Work with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Proactviely suggest new marketing ideas and opportunities to improve brand awareness and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across all regional offices to support local marketing initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support when required, including arranging meetings, travel, and accommodation.
  • Assist with company hospitality administration, meeting minutes and other business support tasks as required.

Person Requirements

  • A genuine interest in marketing, administration, and supporting business growth.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • A creative mindset with an interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.

Desirable Skills & Experience (Not Essential but Beneficial)

  • An interest in social media platforms and an understanding of how they are used to engage audiences.
  • Familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop, or a willingness to learn.
  • An interest in helping to plan and support events, with the ability to organise tasks effectively.
  • An enthusiasm for marketing and digital communications, with a willingness to develop knowledge and skills through training.
