Job Purpose: To coordinate the supply of competent plant operators to fulfil operated hire contracts for our customers. Reporting to the National Recruitment Manager, you will primarily be responsible for arranging regional operator hires, ensuring that all operator hires as requested by your manager are filled with suitably trained and skilled operators within your region. In addition, the role requires oversight and coordination of Rail Resource, ensuring full compliance with rail-specific standards, competencies, and administrative requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Fill all regional operated hires as allocated daily by your manager with suitably trained skilled operators from the Company database.
- Apply the pre-agreed operator and charge out rates, as provided by the National Recruitment Manager.
- Ensure operator pre-use checks are completed in accordance with working practices (e.g. relevant certification, right to work information, medical information and medical bookings as part of induction where needed).
- Coordinate and manage Rail Resource, ensuring all rail personnel are fully compliant and up to speed with industry requirements, including: Sentinel system requirements (including Sentinel compliance), Sub-sponsorship and primary sponsorship.
