Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple contracts across the renewable energy and social housing sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven operations professional with a strong background in construction, renewable energy or social housing, who is confident managing multiple projects, leading operational teams and maintaining excellent client relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee contracts involving solar PV, roofing and social housing retrofit projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of multiple contracts across your region.
  • Manage and support Site Managers, Contracts Managers and operational teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, housing associations and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, KPIs and profitability across all contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and industry standards.
  • Attend client meetings and provide operational updates.
  • Manage subcontractors and internal teams to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and client satisfaction.
  • Travel across regional sites as required.
Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager or similar senior operational role.
  • Strong background within construction, renewable energy, retrofit or social housing.
  • Experience overseeing multiple live contracts simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and contract performance.
  • Client-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate about Health & Safety and quality standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
  • Experience delivering solar PV, roofing and social housing retrofit projects.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035.
  • SMSTS or equivalent management qualification.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
