Sewing Machinist
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: £13 per hour flat rate - OTE around £35,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime as required.
We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist with the ability to produce high-quality finished covers from cut patterns.
Key skills required:
- Experience using industrial sewing machines.
- Confident with twin needle, top stitching and overlocking.
- Able to work with piping cord and Velcro.
- Experience working with a range of fabrics, including velvet, thick pile, plastic and faux leather.
- Able to take a cut set of patterns and sew a complete cover through to finished product.
