Senior Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer (Maternity Cover) – Leasehold Transactions

Full-time Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Reporting to: Managing Director

Salary: Competitive

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex / Hybrid Working Available (1 day per week)

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Licensed Conveyancer. Ideally 5+ years' post-qualification experience (or equivalent experience for Licensed Conveyancers), although applications from candidates with relevant expertise will be considered.

The successful candidate will join the in-house legal team of a national property group. The company is a large freeholder and residential landlord with an established portfolio across England and Wales.

This role focuses on managing a varied caseload of transactional leasehold matters, supporting the wider legal team and providing commercially focused legal advice to the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to join a busy, collaborative in-house legal team.
