We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy, well-established garage in Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position covering all aspects of servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault finding. We're open to candidates from all backgrounds; whether you're fully qualified or experienced through hands-on work, if you're confident on the tools and keen to grow, we want to hear from you.

SALARY

£33,000 - £42,000 per annum (PAYE, depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  • Work independently and manage a varied workload day to day
  • Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if licence held)
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
  • Uphold workshop health and safety standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Tester licence (desirable, not essential)
