JOB OVERVIEW
We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a well-established, family run motor group based in Derby. This is a full-time, permanent position within a professional and well run workshop that takes real pride in the quality of work they produce. The workshop is clean, organised and equipped with up to date technology, making it a great environment for a technician who enjoys working to a high standard. This is a long term opportunity with genuine career progression for the right person.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles
- Work to high standards of safety and efficiency at all times
- Work as part of a skilled, professional team
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
- Conduct MOT testing if licenced to do so
QUALIFICATIONS
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (preferred)
- Solid hands on experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- MOT licence (desirable, not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Ability to work well as part of a team
