JOB OVERVIEW

We're recruiting a Motor Vehicle Technician for our client, a well-established independent garage in Bournemouth with over 20 years trading experience and a solid local reputation. This is a full-time, permanent position within a friendly, close knit team offering a stable working environment and a great work life balance. All work is carried out within the workshop. No weekends, no call outs. Just a straightforward, long term role for someone who takes pride in their work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out servicing and routine maintenance across a wide range of vehicles
  • Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, exhaust systems and timing belts
  • Diagnose and fault find mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a small, close knit team
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times
  • Follow health and safety procedures throughout

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong all round mechanical ability (essential)
  • Good diagnostic skills across a range of makes and models
  • Confident working independently and as part of a small team
  • Organised, reliable and self motivated
  • Attention to detail and high personal standards
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
