Vehicle Technician Pay: £33,000.00-£42,000.00 per year Vehicle Technician Job Description: JOB OVERVIEW We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy, well-established garage in Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position covering all aspects of servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault finding. We're open to candidates from all backgrounds whether you're fully qualified or experienced through hands-on work, if you're confident on the tools and keen to grow, we want to hear from you. SALARY £33,000£42,000 per annum (PAYE, depending on experience) RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical faults Work independently and manage a varied workload day to day Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if licence held) Maintain accurate records of all work carried out Uphold workshop health and safety standards at all times QUALIFICATIONS Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (essential) NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (desirable, not essential) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Full UK driving licence MOT Tester licence (desirable, not essential) WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A hands-on, reliable all-rounder who takes pride in their work and is ready to commit to a long-term role.
