We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, an independent prestige specialist based in Macclesfield. This is a full-time, permanent position within a professional workshop environment that focuses on quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on higher end vehicles and takes real pride in the standard of their work. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of prestige vehicles
  • Work on engine, suspension, braking and electrical systems
  • Use diagnostic equipment, workshop tools and technical manuals on a daily basis
  • Work independently and as part of the wider workshop team
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout all work carried out
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Welding work where applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong all round mechanical ability (essential)
  • Experience with diagnostics and fault finding across a range of vehicles
  • Confident working independently when required
  • Experience with more involved mechanical repairs (highly beneficial)
  • Reliable, motivated and able to work efficiently in a busy workshop
  • Welding experience (desirable, not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
